Tequila Mocktail #6: Blueberry Lavender Lemonade

The Blueberry Lavender Lemonade Tequila mocktail is a delightful and refreshing drink that combines the sweet-tartness of blueberries, the floral notes of lavender, and the tanginess of lemonade and Trejo's Tequila Alternative. The blueberry lavender syrup makes this drink so luscious.

  • 1 cup premium lemonade (or 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice and 1/2 cup simple syrup)
  • 2 ounces Trejo's Tequila Alternative
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • 2 dropperfuls  All The Bitter Lavender Bitter
  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 ounce simple syrup
  • Soda water
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh blueberries and lavender sprigs (for garnish)

Instructions
 

For the blueberry lavender syrup:

  • In a small saucepan, combine the blueberries and dried culinary lavender with 1 cup of water.
  • Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 5 minutes to infuse the flavors.
  • Remove the saucepan from heat and strain the mixture, discarding the solids. Allow the blueberry lavender syrup to cool.

For the drink:

  • In a pitcher, combine the lemonade, lemon juice, simple syrup, and cooled blueberry lavender syrup.
  • Stir well to mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
  • Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the blueberry-lavender lemonade mixture over the ice.
  • Top each glass with soda water to add a refreshing effervescence.
  • Stir gently to combine the flavors.
  • Garnish each glass with fresh blueberries and a sprig of lavender.
