Hojicha Latte

The Hojicha Latte is a staple in our house. We make it a few times a week for our afternoon pick-me-up. Most often, following lunch because Hojicha not only helps with digestion but it also kicks those afternoon sleepies to the curb without keeping us up at night. #thisisforty

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup of soy milk we opt for soy milk because it froths nicely
  • 2 tsp Hojicha Powder
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar/sugar in the raw

Instructions
 

  • Heat the milk in a saucepan on medium heat.
  • Once hot, but before it simmers, mix in the Hojicha powder slowly. Whisk to avoid clumping.
  • You should get a nice froth.
  • Stir in sugar. 
  • Remove from heat and enjoy immediately!

Cold Hojicha

  • Increase Hojicha powder and sweetener by 1/2 tsp.
  • Serve warm Hojicha over ice.
